"Bridging Ideas: Emerging Frontiers in Translational Medical Devices"

2025년 8월 11일, 가톨릭대학교와 New York University Abu Dhabi(NYUAD)가 공동으로 주최하는 국제 산학연 워크숍이 성황리에 개최되었습니다!!
On August 11, 2025, an international industry-academia-research workshop jointly hosted by Catholic University of Korea and New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) was held successfully!!
"Bridging Ideas: Emerging Frontiers in Translational Medical Devices"라는 주제로 열린 이번 워크숍은 차세대 바이오 의료기기 기술과 융합연구의 최신 동향을 공유하는 교류의 장으로 마련되었습니다.
특히 저희 연구실의 권순재 교수님께서는 이민지 교수님(바이오메디컬소프트웨어학과)과 함께 본 행사를 주도적으로 기획하고 이끌었습니다.
This workshop, held under the theme "Bridging Ideas: Emerging Frontiers in Translational Medical Devices," was designed as a forum for sharing the latest trends in next-generation biomedical device technology and convergence research.
Professor Kwon Soon-jae of our lab, along with Professor Lee Min-ji (Department of Biomedical Software), took the lead in planning and leading this event.
또한, 'CUK 연구 하이라이트' 세션에서 "Development of Earable Devices for Sleep-Status Monitoring"이라는 주제로 연구실의 핵심 성과를 발표하여 국내외 연구진으로부터 많은 관심을 받았습니다.
Additionally, the lab's key achievements were presented in the 'CUK Research Highlights' session under the theme of "Development of Earable Devices for Sleep-Status Monitoring," which garnered much attention from researchers at home and abroad.
이번 워크숍은 NYUAD의 Rafael Song 교수님의 기조연설을 시작으로 학계와 산업계의 최신 기술 동향 발표가 이어졌으며, 향후 국제 공동 연구 협력을 기대하게 하는 뜻깊은 행사로 마무리되었습니다.
This workshop began with a keynote address by Professor Rafael Song of NYUAD, followed by presentations on the latest technological trends from academia and industry, and concluded as a meaningful event that raised expectations for future international research collaboration.
